Dr. Stephen Safford Wolfson
Founder, Clinical Neuroscientist
Dr Steve Wolfson is a clinical psychologist and computational cognitive neuroscientist specialising in neurocognitive training, affect research and electrophysiology. Steve created the NeuroCog® System and Neury® app, which applies neuroscience and clinical techniques to help individuals improve emotional regulation, resilience, and cognitive performance through real-time psychophysiological feedback.
Stephen earned his PhD from the University of Auckland, Department of Psychology, where his work focused on EEG signal analysis, machine learning, and personalised psychophysiological modelling. He also holds two Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and Fielding Graduate University.
With more than 26 years of international experience across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, Dr Wolfson has worked in both public health systems and private practice, applying advanced neurocognitive methods to enhance mental health care and human performance.
